Which London pass suits your trip?
Several full days and a packed schedule? Then The London Pass is our pick: the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral and the hop-on hop-off bus are included, and your pass days only start when you visit your first attraction. If you haven't used it, you can cancel free of charge up to 90 days after purchase. The catch: it only pays off if you visit around three paid attractions a day, and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour is never included.
Just a few specific sights? With the London Explorer Pass you choose two to seven attractions and have 30 days to visit them. The London Flex Pass works in a similar way but offers a smaller selection, and there is a fee if you cancel.
Tower, bus and a Thames trip in one package? The London City Pass bundles the Tower of London, the hop-on hop-off bus and Thames boat trips for 1 to 7 consecutive days. The London Eye costs extra with this pass, and cancelling incurs a handling fee.
When you don't need a pass: if you only plan one or two attractions a day, single tickets usually work out cheaper. The London Pass doesn't cover public transport either, and the hop-on hop-off bus is no substitute: you pay for the Tube and regular buses separately, by contactless.
